    If you're not in the Settings menu, you can easily open it the Settings icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

    Now that we are in Settings, what do we need to do to set up the notifications?

    Basically, when you receive a message, you can preview it in a fast notification, or you can have this option off. It works only while WhatsApp is on.

    To reset all of the notifications, you could tap Reset All Notifications toward the bottom of the screen.

    There is a very important thing to remember.
    Your notifications in WhatsApp, however way you might be changing them, may not work if they are different from your iPhone settings. So to make them active, you have to activate the push notification. In order to do that we need to visit iPhone settings. For now, press the Home button at the bottom of the phone to close the WhatsApp application.

    I'm currently using None, so let's change it to Alerts.
