Setup an iPhone 6s Plus

You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to set up the iPhone 6s Plus. When you receive the phone from the factory, it will come in the "factory reset" condition when you power it up.
Swipe to the right to open up the set-up process.
First, you will be asked to choose your language.
Tap on a language.
For this tutorial, let's tap on "English".
Then, choose your country.
Let's tap on "United States" when selecting the country.
Optionally, tap on a WiFi network.
For this tutorial, the phone has detected "Huawei-53BA" as the WiFi network.
Then, you may be asked to enter the password to the WiFi network.
Type it if needed.
Once you've entered the password, tap on "Join".
Then, the phone will ask you if you want to enable or disable the location services.
For this tutorial, let's tap on "Enable Location Services". Next, you will be asked to set up your Touch ID. The message on the screen will read "Use your fingerprint in place of your passcode on Apple ID password for purchases. Start by placing your finger or thumb on the Home Button."
Press your finger against the home button several times.
The phone will vibrate each time it scans the finger. Now, the phone will ask you to "Adjust Your Grip" and "Keep going to capture the edges of your print".
Now, try different positions of your finger on the home button.
The process will be eventually completed and your Touch ID will be ready.
Then, you can tap on "Continue".
Now, the phone will ask you to create a passcode.
For this tutorial, let's type "111111" as the passcode.
A pop-up window will appear, asking: "Are You Sure You Want to Use This Code?"
Tap on "Use Code" to confirm the passcode.
Now, reenter your passcode.
Next, you will be given four options. You can tap on "Restore from iCloud Backup", "Restore from iTunes Backup", "Set Up as New iPhone", and "Move Data from Android".
For this tutorial, let's tap on "Set Up as New iPhone".
You can enter your Apple ID and password if you have it.
Alternatively, tap on "Don't have an Apple ID or forgot it?" to create a new Apple ID.
Set your birthday date and tap on "Next".
Then, enter your first and last names.
For this tutorial, "Mike VisiHow" is typed.
Next, type an email address.
You can tap on one of the two options: "Use your current email address" or "Get a free iCloud email address". Now, let's tap on "Use your current email address".
Type your email address and tap on "Next".
Then, create a password and confirm your password by reentering it in "Verify".
Once you've verified your password, tap on "Next".
If you create a weak password, you will get a notification reading "Your password must include uppercase letter and a lowercase letter."
Tap on "OK" to confirm the password.
If you need to create a stronger password, include uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols, and numbers.
Then, tap on "Next".
Next, you will need to enter answers to three security questions.
Tap on "Choose a Question".
This will allow you to choose a question from the list. The questions are "What is your favorite children's book?", "What is your dream job?", "What was your childhood nickname?", "What was the model ofyour first car?", "Who was your favorite singer or band in high school?", and "Who was your favorite film start or character in school?".
For this tutorial, let's tap on "What is your dream job?" for the first question.
Choose the second the third questions from the same list and enter the answers.
Once you've entered your security questions, tap on "Next".
Then, enter "Rescue Email".
For this tutorial, the options is skipped by tapping on "Next".
Now, you can tap the toggle to disable receiving email messages with updates with Apple news.
In this tutorial, the option is left turned on.
Next, read "Terms and Conditions".
You can also tap on "Send by Email".
Once you've read the terms and conditions, tap on either "Disagree" or "Agree".
In this video, "Agree" is tapped.
Then, tap on "Agree" again to confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of conditions.
Read more terms and conditions.
You can scroll them down to read.
Then, tap on either "Disagree" or "Agree".
Let's tap on "Agree". A pop-up box will ask you again if you agree with the terms and conditions.
Tap on "Next".
Then, set up Apple Pay.
You can either tap on "Enter Card Details Manually" or "Set Upt later in Wallet".
For now, let's tap on "Set Up Later in Wallet".
Tap on "Next" on the "iCloud Key chain" screen.
Now, tap on "Set Up Siri" to set up Siri.
Say, "Hi,, Siri!" to the iPhone.
Now, say, "Hi,, Siri!" one more time.
Next, say, "Hi,, Siri!
How's the weather today?"
Then, say, "Hi,, Siri!
It's me". You may need to say it again.
Now, tap on "Send to Apple" to send diagnostics to Apple.
Then, tap on either "Share with App Developers" or "Continue".
You can share application analytics.
Now, you may tap either of the two options for "Display Zoom".
These are "STANDARD" and "ZOOMED". For this tutorial, "ZOOMED" is tapped.
You can also tap the "Standard" tab.
There is just a small difference between the "Zoomed" and "Standard" options.
Tap on "Next".
Your iPhone will be set up!
