You are watching VisiHow. Today, we are going to show you how you can set up speed dial on your Samsung Galaxy S5, S5 Mini, or S5 Mini Duos. To start off, you need to press the power button on the right-hand side of your phone. One quick press should open up the locked screen.
Realistically, if you have 999 speed dial numbers, that would probably mean you had somewhere in the order of 10,000 or 20,000 contacts, which is an absolutely enormous number of contacts
Most of us are going to have anywhere from 5 to 10 speed dial numbers. However, as indicated here, you can certainly set up more if that is your preference. When you want to call a single-digit speed dial number, you simply tap and hold that keypad number. However, if you want to call any speed dial number, for instance, number 10 or number 15 in your speed dial, then in that case, your going to have to press the first number or if it's in the hundreds, the first and second number, and when you get to the last number in your speed dial, at that point, you are going to press and hold it. So, as listed here, in our example, you might want to have number 15, in which case you would press 1 and then you would press and hold 5, which would bring that up. At any rate, let's tap OK and close this window.
