Edited by Kara, nitid, Eng, Anonymous
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video I will show you how to set up the Notifications for Facebook Messenger on an iPhone 6.
To start, we need to unlock the phone.
This example uses the fingerprint lock.
Now go straight to the Facebook Messenger.
Tap on the Messenger icon which looks like a white and blue icon with a white lightning bolt sign inside. Give it a single tap to open it.
Then go straight to the "Settings." In the bottom right corner of the phone, there is a gear icon.
That's where we need to tap. Tap on "Settings."
We should check the very first line that says "Notifications" just in case it says "Off."
We'll need to close the Messenger application and go to our "Settings," which looks like gray gears.
Let's open the "Settings."
Then go to the "Notifications" sections.
Tap on "Notifications."
Scroll down until we see "Messenger" icon.
Let's give it a tap.
Then to "Allow Notifications" on the phone, just tap on the switch.
Now, let's allow "Sounds." Turn on "Sounds."
Then Badge Application.
If we want to "Show in Notification Center," let's open it.
Now we have "5 Recent Items" setup by default.
This default setting is appropriate for this example so we will go back. Tap on the arrow in the top left-hand corner.
After we've Allowed Notifications that are in the main settings center, double tap on the Home button.
Go back "Messenger" by tapping on the "Messenger" icon.
Now we will set it up inside the application.
Tap on "Notification Previews."
Then swipe on "In-App Sound."
Next, swipe on "In-App Vibrate."
You just watched me show you how to set up the Notifications for Facebook Messenger using iPhone 6.
If you have any additional questions on how Facebook or any other related applications work, leave them in the comments section below. Goodbye.
