Set the Alarm on Microsoft Lumia 535

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to set and alter an alarm on a Microsoft Lumia 535.


Steps

    To begin this process, we're going to turn the phone on
    .
    I press the button on the right side of the phone to activate the phone.

    Now, we're going to swipe up from the bottom to bring up the Home screen

    If we swipe sideways from right to left we bring up another menu
    .
    At the top of this menu you will see a tile entitled Alarms. We're going to press this tile.

    We currently have no saved alarms

    We can add an alarm by pressing the plus sign at the bottom of the screen

    Now, we have a new alarm

    We're going to set the time

    At the clock that comes up, you can change the hours, minutes, and set AM or PM
    .
    It is currently set at 7:00 AM, a little early perhaps. Let's try 8:00 AM.

    When we are satisfied with the time, we can click the check mark at the bottom of the screen

    Now, we are going to select Repeat

    We want it to be every weekday, so select each of those days by clicking on the check box next to them

    These are the work days traditionally. When finished, we'll tap the check mark at the bottom.

    Then we have the type of sound we want

    Tap on Sound to choose what you prefer.

    Do we want Clokktastrophe
    ?
    Do we want Birds in the Woods? I think Birds in the Woods sounds quite nice, so we'll press that.

    Now, we have Snooze Time at the bottom

    Tap on this to see the different options of snooze time, which is really helpful. I'm going to put 1 hour and totally defeat the whole purpose of having an alarm.

    I'm satisfied with this, so I'm going to press the disc icon at the bottom, which indicates save

    So there we go

    We've now saved an alarm. We can turn the alarm on and off by simply sliding across the switch on the right side of the screen.

    We can also add more alarms

    I find that if the first alarm doesn't work, which it usually doesn't, it's a good idea to set multiple alarms. We can do that again by pressing the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. Then repeat the same steps above to set another alarm.
