Set a Daily Playtime Limit in Samsung Kids Mode

You're watching VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to set daily playtime limits for your child on Kids Mode on the Samsung Galaxy S5 or S5 Mini.
- 4This is the main screen of the application. On the bottom, we have a little doorway which is the exit indicator, and the parent and child which is the parental controls. Tap on parental controls, then enter your PIN. I always recommend a very simple password, I have 1234 set, obviously as your child gets older you may have something other than that setup.
- 10Let me give you a little parental advice based on my own experience with this, if you do not want to set a time limit then run your phones battery down.Give the phone to the child with a low battery and when the battery dies there can't be any arguments, fighting or frustration because the battery died. It's not an artificial limit imposed by you, at least not in their world, it's simply the battery dying which is a natural result of not charging the phone. Now we need to charge the phone so that the child can play with it again the next day or after nap-time. When you're satisfied with your time limit or you've turned it off, simply tap back a couple times which will take you back to the main screen. Once you're back on the home screen you simply tap the exit button and enter your PIN to exit back to the main home screen.
- 11This concludes our tutorial on how to set a daily playtime limit for your child. We hope that it's been helpful for you and we look forward to providing you with additional assistance and help with anything related to Kids Mode Parental Controls on the Samsung Galaxy S5. Thank you, have a nice day.Advertisement
