Hi. You're watching VisiHow and this is a tutorial on how to set up a fast-forward button on My Boy, the Gameboy Advanced emulator, on the Huawei G700.
Start off by unlocking the phone.
To unlock it, press the unlock button located on the right-hand side of the phone and then swipe the screen down.
Once it's unlocked, we need to open the emulator.
In this case, it's in the "Emulators" folder, so we tap on the folder and then we tap on My Boy.
Now we need to access the settings.
To do this, tap the wrench icon located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Once in the settings, we need to press "Misc."
Now, we first need to enable the fast forward button.
To do this, we need to tap on the "Fast-forward button."
Now we can choose "Press to toggle" or "Hold down to activate" depending upon our preference.
In this case, we will choose "Press to toggle." After we have selected an option, we should be returned to the Misc menu once more.
While back on the Misc menu, tap on "Fast-forward speed."
We will set it to anything from the list.
For example, we can slow the game down by pressing the .5 or .2 speed setting. We can also speed up the game by selecting anything from the 1.5 speed setting and up. In this case, we're going to select the 8 times speed setting by tapping on it.
Now, we can go back.
To do this, we press the back button on the lower left-hand corner of the phone until we have reached the main menu. Now, we're back in the main menu.
This concludes our tutorial on how to set up a fast-forward button for My Boy, the Gameboy Advanced emulator, on the Huawei G700.
