Set Up a Device on Fitbit on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Sid Bedekar, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can set up a device on the Fitbit application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by which we can do by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom.
Swipe right and enter the passcode or use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.
Find the Fitbit icon which looks like this one here and tap once to open it up.
It should automatically take us to this screen where we can see today's information so your numbers may be a bit different than ours but the information will be the same.
Otherwise, it might ask us to sign in, in which case you can refer to our other video where we talk you through exactly how to do that.
What we need to do then is go to our account by pressing the icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
Then we can see that underneath our name, we have the option to set up a device.
We would set up a device when we first created our account but if we want to add another device or change some settings, then we can tap "Set Up a Device".
Now we can choose from a list of different devices or because we won't have any, we are going to choose the "No Fitbit YET?" option at the bottom.
This will use the phone and motion activity instead which we should give access to through our settings.
Then we can tap "Set Up Your Phone".
We can press "OK" on this screen.
We can see that it has set up our phone to be able to be used as a device.
This was possible because we have already given access to motion activity and if it is a different device, then it would take a little longer, but we have already used this phone before.
We can press "Dashboard" in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen to get back to where we began.
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can setup a device on the Fitbit application on an iPhone 6.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below and we will do our best to get back to you.
