    To begin, turn the phone On by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen; to unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

    Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and at the bottom, we will see these icons

    It is one of these icons that we now need to activate because we need to open up our applications folder.

    To open the applications folder, we need the icon located at the bottom of the home screen and in the middle

    We can see that there is a grid made of white dots. Press down on this icon and it will open up the applications folder.

    In this folder, we need to find the Gmail application

    We can see that there is the Gmail icon which is an envelope with a red "M" and underneath, it says the word "Gmail". Your Gmail application may be in a different position in this folder. Therefore, you will need to find it and press down on it to open it.

    We now need to find the Settings menu and to do that, we need to press the icon located at the top left-hand corner of the screen

    We can see that there are three white horizontal lines. Press down on this icon and it will open up a menu.

    We need to scroll down and right at the bottom, it says the word "Settings"

    Press down on the word "Settings" and it will open up another menu.

    We want the middle option which says "visihowl@gmail.com" because that is our personal email and this is our personal account

    You will see the name for your email and your account so press down on that and this will open up a new menu.

    It says "Signature" and underneath, it says "Not set" and that is because nothing has been entered. A signature is what appears at the bottom of our emails when we send them. This can be our name, position, business, address or anything we want to include at the bottom of every email. To set a signature, press down on this section.

    Then, type something in

    We can type something simple like "Director". You can type whatever you want to type.

    We can press down on the "OK" button in turquoise

    Now this has been set as our signature. You can obviously write a bit more but because we are just a director and we haven't specified what we are the director of but you can add as much information as you want.

    We can also edit this just by pressing down on the same section again and use the keypad to edit the text
