- 2To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up.Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We currently have the lock screen enabled on this phone, but it's insecure as we only need to swipe to enter the phone. We are going to demonstrate how to set up a password to unlock the screen. This makes the phone a lot more secure. To do this, we need to find the Settings menu. To do that, we need to swipe the notification panel down.Advertisement
- 10Now we need to select what notifications the phone shows when the device is locked. We can select "Show all notification content", "Hide sensitive notification content", or "Don't show notifications at all". The green circle indicates the option that is currently selected. To change it, just press down on the chosen option and tap on "DONE". This will take us back into the security menu.
