Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to set an alarm in Windows 10.
The first thing we need to do is locate the Alarms & Clock application.
In this case, we need to click the lower-left corner of the screen to open up the start menu. Then, we may have Alarms & Clock pinned to the start menu.
We might have to click "All apps" to find "Alarms & Clock".
We click "Alarms & Clock".
We will need to wait for the application to load.
When the application loads, we need to click "Alarm".
In this video, there is a preset 1 PM alarm.
We can add an alarm by simply clicking the plus sign at the bottom.
Let's go ahead and name the alarm.
For example, let's name it "VisiHow wake up".
We can input time by clicking the area under "Time".
Then, we scroll up and down to select the hours, minutes, and AM or PM.
For example, 10:00 AM.
Once we are ready, we click the checkmark.
We can set the repetition.
In this video, "Repeats" is set to "Only once". If we click the drop-down menu, we will be able to click "Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "Thursday", "Friday", "Saturday", and "Sunday".
The next thing is setting up the sound.
In this case, it is set to "Chimes". We can click the drop-down menu.
Then, we can click one of the available sounds.
We can also listen to the sounds by clicking on the play icon next to them.
For example, let's go ahead and listen to "Chimes".
We click on a sound.
Let's click "Chimes". That's it.
We can also set "Snooze time" by clicking the drop-down menu under it.
Then, we click the duration of "Snooze time" to select it.
Let's click "5 minutes". When the alarm goes off, we'll be able to click the "Snooze" button; and the next alarm will go off in five minutes.
We set everything in "NEW ALARM" according to our preference, and when we've finished, we click the saving icon.
There we go.
To turn off an enabled alarm, we need to click the "On" toggle next to it.
To turn the alarm back on, we need to click the "Off" toggle next to it again.
This concludes our tutorial on how to set an alarm in Windows 10. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comment section below.
