Send Voice Messages in WhatsApp on Microsoft Lumia 535
Edited by Thor, Colette Cole, Jen M
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to send voice messages when using the WhatsApp messaging application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, press the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
That will activate it and now you can see the lock screen.
Swipe the lock screen up to take you to the home screen.
On the home screen, we need to find the WhatsApp tile.
Mine's located at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. You can see it here. It's a blue tile with a white phone inside a white speech bubble.
If you have not pinned your WhatsApp tile to your home screen, you will need to swipe across to the left and find it in the application menu.
Wherever you have it located, find it and press the tile.
Now that we have entered the application, we need to enter a message.
I have one message here. You can press the phone number or you can press the image square, where the profile picture would be if you have one.
Sometimes the Microsoft Lumia 535 screen can be temperamental, so you may have to press hard to enter the messages.
Once you've entered the messages, you need to send a voice message.
That is our intention in this video. To do that, we are going to press this icon that has the microphone picture, located at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
We are going to press it, hold it and speak clearly towards the phone.
When you press it, you will hear a "bing" sound and you'll know that it has been activated. So in this conversation, we are talking about a picnic we had yesterday and I would like to express my gratitude to the organizer of this event. I shall begin. I'm going to press the button with the microphone and hold it while I speak. I'm going to record now.
There you can see, just by holding the microphone down, we are able to leave a voice message.
When you let go of the microphone symbol, the recording will stop and it will send it automatically. You don't have the option of recording then sending. It sends automatically.
If I press the play button now, which is the button with the triangle inside the circle in the message, you can listen to that message to make sure you're happy with it, but it will already have been sent.
This concludes our tutorial on how to send a voice message through the WhatsApp messaging application when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
If you have any questions or comments about this video, or about the application itself, then please leave them in the comments section below and we shall endeavor to answer them. You've been watching VisiHow. Thank you for watching. Goodbye!
