You are watching VisiHow! We will teach you how to send photos on Viber while using the iPhone 6. As a prerequisite, you need the iPhone with Viber already installed and activated on the phone.
Unlock the phone by pressing the home button.
My phone can be unlocked with my fingerprint. Your phone may be unlocked with a PIN, a password, a pattern, or a fingerprint, depending on your choice.
Locate and tap the purple Viber messenger icon.
You will see the last window that you had open in Viber. My last Windows was the chat history. To choose an addressee, pick a person from your contact list or from your chat history. For more information, refer to VisiHow articles on how to start a Viber chat and how to send messages to people on Viber.
Open a chat with a person.
I have a couple of messages that the person and I have exchanged. Right now, I am going to send her some photos.
To take a picture and send it, tap the little plus icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
There is an option to take a photo or video.
Tap "Take Photo or Video" to take a picture with either frontal or rear camera.
Tap "OK" if Viber asks you to give it access to the microphone or camera.
Switch between frontal and rear cameras by tapping the icon with two arrows in the top right corner.
There is a wall behind my phone, so I am going to switch to the frontal camera to take a picture of myself.
Tap the purple button in the lower section of the screen to take a photo.
That is the picture that I took and that is what I am going to send.
Tap "Send" to send the taken picture or "Cancel" to take a picture again or cancel sending a picture.
Tap "OK" if Viber asks you to give it access to your photos to send the photo.
To send a picture from your gallery, tap the little plus icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
There is an option to choose a picture from your gallery.
Tap the second option, "Choose from Gallery".
Choose the folder from where you want to send a picture.
I go to "Camera Roll".
Tap the pictures that you want to include in a message.
They will be highlighted and marked. Tap a picture again to exclude it. You can send up to ten pictures at once. I selected five pictures.
Tap "Done" if you have finished selecting the pictures.
Tap "Tap to add a description" to add a description to any picture.
Tap "Done" after you make descriptions and "Cancel" to cancel them.
The limitation for each description is 120 characters.
Swipe to the next pictures.
You can add a description to each single picture. You can also remove a picture from the message by tapping the icon with a cross next to the small preview of the picture on top.
Tap "Send" in the top right corner of the phone after you have finished describing or removing pictures.
If you wish to cancel the whole message, tap "Cancel".
Wait for the pictures to be sent.
Pictures that are being sent are greyed out. They are being uploaded. You can cancel sending them, if you have time, by clicking the cross icon next to the picture. Pictures that were failed being sent will have a red frame and a red arrow icon next to them. Tap the arrow to resend the pictures.
Tap on a picture in the message to see it in its full size.
The photos that have already been sent are not greyed out. All of my five photos have been sent. Now, just wait for the person to receive and see them.
Go back by pressing the arrow icon in the top left corner of the screen.
