Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to send photo and video files on Facebook Messenger using the iPhone 6.
To start with, we need to unlock the phone using the fingerprint lock.
Go to the Facebook Messenger application.
It has a white and blue icon with a lightning sign in it. Give the icon a tap.
We are now on the "Recent Chats" window.
We need to pick one chat that we will be working with.
Let's choose one contact - tap on it.
We are now on the chat window.
To send photo and video files, we need to switch our attention to the middle menu bar which is right between our keyboard and our chat window.
If we want to send a photo, we need to tap on the "Pictures" icon.
The icon is the third one from the left - tap on it.
Tapping will take us to the recent photos taken on the phone.
If we want to send a lot of pictures at once, we need to go to our Camera Roll.
In order to access the Camera Roll through the Messenger, tap on the little square sign on the bottom-left corner of our phone.
Here we are on the Camera Roll.
We can scroll down and pick the photos that we like. We just tap on the pictures that we would like to send.
The screen shows that we chose five pictures.
As soon as we are done with picking the photos, we also have the option to edit them before sending.
Place a finger on the photo we have picked to zoom it in. We can now scroll left or right.
If we want to add more pictures, just tap on a photo and it will be added to the selection.
To edit pictures, we can press on the "Filters" icon on the menu bar, at the bottom of our screen.
We can pick the filters that we like the most.
To enhance the colors, tap on the "Magic Stick", the icon with stars on it. If we do not like what we did, tap the "Magic Stick" icon back and the colors will back to the original ones.
If we want to crop the picture tap on the "Crop" icon.
Place the finger on the edge of the frame and move the finger to the size that we need. As seen on the screen, the picture is now cropped.
Once we are done with editing our photos, we tap on "Done" at the top-right corner of our screen.
Now we are done with editing our photos.
Tap on "Select" then on "Send" - both at top right corner of our phone.
Our pictures are being sent at the moment.
It might take a second or two. The little circle next to the pictures will change into a check mark which will mean that the photos have been sent.
To send videos, we need to go through the same process.
Tap on the "Picture" icon in our menu bar then we go to the Camera Roll. Tap on the Camera Roll and scroll down to find the video we want to send.
Tap on the video.
If we want to watch it, we can press and hold on the video icon. Tap on the "Play" icon at the left bottom corner of the phone to watch the video.
Now, press the "Send" button on the top right corner of our phone.
The video is loading.
It will take two or three seconds before it is sent. We will see that is sent as soon as the "Loading" icon has loaded all the way.
