Edited by Freya, Courtney, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can send a copy of a document from the Pages application, on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our device by pressing the Lock button.
This button is located at the top, on the right-hand side of the device.
Alternatively, we can press the Home button.
This button is located at the bottom center, on the front of the phone.
Next we are going to press our finger to the screen, then slide to the right.
This will bring us to the Touch ID or Passcode screen.
From here, we can enter in our Passcode to unlock our phone.
Alternatively, we can press and hold our finger to the Home button.
This will activate the Touch ID sensor, unlocking the device for us.
From the Home screen, we need to find the Pages application icon.
This icon is orange, with a white pen inside of it. Underneath, the word "Pages" will be written in white text.
Tap this icon one time, this will open the application for us.
For our example, we will be taken straight to a document. This document was create using the blank page template. Please refer to our other video, where we talk through exactly how to open a new document on Pages.
From here, we can tap on the document to open up the Keyboard.
Then we can use the keyboard to type in anything we may like.
For example, we will type "Hello". We may also choose to add in a picture, which we have shown how to do in another video.
We can now go to the top, right-hand corner and tap on the second icon from the right.
This icon features an orange rectangle, with an arrow pointing upwards inside of it.
This will bring up a new screen, titled "Share".
From here, we will tap on the second option labeled "Send a Copy".
To the left of this option, there will be the same icon that we previously tapped. However, this icon will be gray instead of orange.
We will then be taken to another screen labeled "Send a Copy" at the top, here we can choose the format we would like to send our document in.
This depends on how we want to send it, as well as the person we are sending the document to.
For our example, we are going to tap on the box labeled "PDF".
We will now be given a new list of option, here we can choose how we would like to send our document.
We are going to tap on the first option, labeled "Mail".
This option is also represented by the Mail application icon. This icon is blue, with a white letter icon inside of it.
This will now open a new email for us, with the Pages document attached.
We can now tap on the "To:" section, where we will type in the email of the person we want to send our document to.
Then we can tap on the "Subject:" section, to change the subject of our email.
For example, we will type in "Hello".
We may also tap in the main body of the email, to type in a message for the receiver.
Once we are satisfied with our message, we can press "Send".
This option is located in the top, right-hand corner of the screen.
Our email, with the document attached, has now been sent.
This is a VisiHow video, and I have just shown you how you can send a copy of your document, from the Pages application on an iPhone 6.
If you have any questions, comments, or inquires, feel free to add them to the section below. We will do our best to help you.
