See When Messages Sent or Received in iMessage Application on the iPhone 6
Edited by Grimm, priya, Eng, Anonymous
You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to see when a message was sent or received in iMessages on an iPhone 6.
Let's start with a quick press on the Home button.
That is the circular button at the bottom of the phone.
This takes us to the lock screen.
From here, we're going to swipe across.
This takes us to the "Touch ID or Enter Passcode" area.
Now, take a fingerprint or thumbprint, and press and hold the Home button.
This takes us to the home screen of the phone.
We're looking for the "Messages" icon, which is a green square with a white chat bubble in it. On this phone, it's on the bottom master panel. However, it can be put anywhere we like. When we find the "Messages" icon, give it a single press.
Now, we can see our active messages.
In this demonstration, we will be showing a quick little chat. The messages were started at 14:00, which is 2 o'clock. We cannot see when an individual message was sent, as there are no times showing for any of them.
We can just see the time that she read the message.
To see the actual message times, just hold the screen and swipe to the left.
Continue holding, and we can see all the times along the right-hand side of the screen. These times tell us when each of the messages was sent or received.
When we let go, it just goes back to normal view.
That's how we see when a message was sent or received in iMessage.
This concludes our tutorial on seeing when messages were sent or received in iMessage on an iPhone 6.
