Hello, welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to see information for an individual photo, in the Photos application on an HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button.
This button is located on top of the device.
Once the phone has been activated, we will see the Lock screen.
To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe upwards.
Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the Home screen, with five various icons in a row at the bottom.
It is within these icons that we need to focus, in order to open up the Applications folder.
To open the Applications folder, tap the center icon in the row of icons at the bottom of the screen.
This icon features a grid of small, white dots.
We will now be in the Applications folder.
The word "Apps" will be written in white text, in the top left-hand corner of the screen. In this folder, we need to find the Photos application.
Locate the Photos application icon, then tap on it once.
We can see that this icon is a pinwheel shape, with four different colors. Underneath it will say the word "Photos", written in white text. This application icon may be in a different area of the phone, depending on where we personally placed it.
We will now be in the Photos application.
in this video, we want to show how to see the information for an individual photo. To do this, we need to choose a photo to look at.
Now we will find the photo we would like to view, tapping on it one time.
The photo will now be shown entirely, allowing us to edit it as we like.
We now need to tap the third icon, located in the row of four icons at the bottom of the screen.
We can see that this icon is a white circle, with the letter "I" inside of it.
We will now be brought to a new screen, showing us all the information about our photo.
In the top left-hand corner, this screen will be labeled "Info".
The first section, under the "Details" area, tells us when the photo was taken.
We can see that our photo was taken on "25 June 2015".
The second section gives us information about the quality, as well as the size of the photo.
The third section gives us information about the type of photo, using "mm" and technical details about the photo.
The fourth section lets us know the location the photo was taken.
Underneath of "Location", we will be given the coordinates.
Finally, we have a map showing us the exact location of where we took the photo.
We can choose to enter this map, by simply pressing down on the map image.
This will bring us to Google Maps, where we can further see the exact location the photo was taken at.
Let's go back, by tapping the white arrow in the bottom left-hand corner.
This is our phone's Back button.
This will bring us back to the Info section, of the photo we previously opened.
This then concludes our tutorial on how to see information for an individual photo in the photos application on an HTC One M8.
