Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to search for a place using the Google Earth application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Once at the home screen, find the Google Earth icon which is dark blue with a striped blue and white circle in the center and tap on it once to open the application.
Tap on the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Type in the name of a place to search for it.
In this example, we'll search for London. As we are searching, it brings up popular places depending on the letters we're starting to type in.
Now, we'll tap on "Trafalgar Square, London".
This will automatically search for us by zooming into that particular area, highlighted by a red bubble.
Tap on "Done" in the top-right corner to exit out of the search menu.
Swipe two fingers toward one another to zoom out.
Tap on the compass icon in the top-right to realign.
Now we're back to where we began.
Now you know how to search using the Google Earth application on the iPhone 6.
If you have any questions or comments please enter them in the section below. Thank you for using VisiHow, goodbye.
