    To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen

    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    Find and tap on the Pinterest application, which has an icon that has a white "P" inside of a red circle

    If we are signed in (which we need to be), this should automatically take us to the dashboard in the Pinterest application. Here we can browse pins depending on what we've followed. We can refer to the article on how to sign in using the Pinterest application if we don't know how.

    Our dashboard already features pins, but we're going to tap on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom

    This will bring up popular topics and categories to search for.

    We can either tap any of the specific categories or tap on the gray bar at the top and then search for anything we want

    In this example, we'll type in "cats" and tap on the blue "Search" button to search

    Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back

    As we can see, we have the keyword "Cats" highlighted in red at the top of the screen. The reason that keyword is in a box is because we can add several words and they will all be within their own keyword tag.

    Here we can see the recent searches as well, in this example we'll tap on "living room paint color ideas"

    Tap on the arrow in the top-left to go back

    This will take us back to our main screen.

    If we want to browse anything we will tap on a category, in this example we've tapped on "Celebrities"

    As we can see, in the celebrities category we have specific things within the tag as well, like female actresses, celebrity style, entertainment, royals etc
