Search for People and Groups in Facebook Messenger for iPhone 6

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to do a search for people if you're using Facebook Messenger on an iPhone 6.
To start, unlock the phone using the fingerprint lock.
Look for the Facebook Messenger application.
It looks like a white and blue icon with a lightning bolt inside of it. Give it one press to open, and we'll end up in the chats window.
There are two ways to do a search for people and groups.
The first one is by searching through already existing chats. If we scroll down, at the very top it says "Search for people and groups". Give it one press to summon the keyboard, and the chats will be darkened in shadow.
Type in a person or group name.
In the example, the person we're looking for is located at the top of the results because he is our existing friend. There is also a list of people who are not our friends, but still, Facebook Messenger thinks that we might know them and might be searching for them.
Tap the person's name and it will take us to the chat window.
Tap on "Recent" to go back to our chats.
The second way to do a search for people is to go to the "People" section, which is the third icon on the bottom menu bar.
Tap on the icon and a list of people will appear.
To summon the search option, place a finger on the screen and scroll down.
Now we have a search bar again.
Type a person's name to search for them.
Tap on their name and it will take us to the chat window.
Tap on "People" to go back, which is located in the top left corner of the phone.
This concludes our tutorial on how to do a search for people using Facebook Messenger on an iPhone 6.
