Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to search for friends on your friends list using the Snapchat application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Snapchat icon on the Home screen.
In this example, the home screen is customized and might look a bit different. In this example, it is located in the Social folder. The icon is yellow with the shape of a white ghost in the center. Tap it once to open the application.
Tap and drag the screen to the right.
As we can see, we start from the camera screen when we open the application. In this example, the back camera is being used.
Tap on the search bar at the top to begin typing a name.
When we type the first letter of a name, it will list all the names starting with that letter. The bar is indicated by a small magnifying glass and the word 'Search'.
To delete text entry one character at a time, tap on the 'Delete' button on the keyboard, which looks like an arrow pointing left with a cross inside of it.
Alternatively, to delete everything you've entered tap on the gray 'x' at the top-right corner.
Tap and drag the screen left to go back.
This will take us to the camera screen that we started from.
Now you know how to search for friends using the Snapchat application on the iPhone 6.
