You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can search Books, on the Google application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the Lock button.
This button is located on the right-hand side of the device.
Alternatively, we can press the Home button.
This button in located at the very bottom of the screen.
Then we can swipe to the right, this will bring us to the Touch ID or Passcode screen.
Here we can choose to enter in our Passcode.
Alternatively, we can press and hold our finger to the Home button to activate the Touch ID sensor.
At the Home page, we need to locate the Google application icon.
This icon is blue, with a white letter "g" inside of it.
Simply tap this icon once to open the application.
We will automatically be taken to the main page, where we can search using the search bar in the center of the screen.
We can also tap on the blue microphone directly under the search bar, this will let us use the voice search option.
We have talked through how to do this in another video.
Now we are going to tap on the white search bar.
This will open up a list of our previous searches, where we will tap on the first option to use as an example.
The option we are choosing is titled "pink floyd".
As we can see, along the top of the screen we have the search bar.
Underneath of the search bar, there will be four options.
These options are; "WEB", "IMAGES", "MAPS", and "MORE".
We are going to tap on the last option, labeled "MORE".
This will bring up a white menu for us, featuring five different options.
We will then go down to the fourth option, labeled "Books", and tap on it once.
To the left of this option, there will be a small, gray book icon.
This will filter our search to only show books.
As we can see, by looking at the search bar at the top, we are looking for Pink Floyd books.
To search for different books, tap the "x" within the search bar, located at the top of the screen.
Currently, it will read "pink floyd" since that was the search we had previously imputed.
We can then type in a new search, or click on one of our previous inputs to search for it again.
For an example, we will tap on "the Beatles".
This will load up a new search, still searching specifically in the books section.
Google will continue to search in books until we select a different option.
To go to the previous screen, simply tap the gray arrow in the bottom left-hand corner.
We will now be brought back to our previous page, where we had been searching for "pink floyd".
We can also choose to go back to the screen where we started, simply by tapping the blue circle at the bottom of the screen.
This circle will have a white letter "g" written inside of it.
This will take us back to our search page, where we began.
This is a VisiHow video, and I have just shown you how you can search books, on the Google application for the iPhone 6.
