Edited by Thor, Leomar Umpad, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to scan text in English and translate it into a foreign language when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
- 6The phone is currently trying to scan QR Codes, but if I place some text in front of the camera, then it's going to read the text, and it's going to allow me to scan it. Press Scan Text to scan the text. It says in the top left-hand corner that it's finding some text. This brings up our ability to scan text.
- 12Surprisingly, there is no menu or function to actually copy the text translation. The only thing that we can do is to take a manual screenshot of this image, and then we will have it as a picture. We need to go to an editing tool to be able to do anything with it. We can send it as a photo if we want to share it, but we can't actually edit it and copy it into a Word document, for example. It is worth reminding that you need to have an internet connection in order to use this function because it needs the internet to translate the text.
