Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to save a photo from the Skype application to a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
Once the phone is activated, swipe the lock screen up to get to the home screen.
On the home screen, find the Skype tile.
It has a light blue background, and in the middle there is the Skype logo, which is a white circle with a blue letter "S" inside. If the Skype tile has not been pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the Apps menu.
Once Skype has been located, press down on it to enter the application.
The purpose of this tutorial is to learn how to save a photo from Skype to the Microsoft Lumia 535. The first step in doing this is to find a photo. Find a chat in Skype with a photo in it to continue along with the tutorial. If there are no chats with photos on your phone, just watch this video to learn how to do this in the future.
Go to the "recent" section to find a contact.
The screen has "recent" at the top in blue text.
A contact can also be found in the "people" section.
That screen has "people" at the top in blue text. This is a complete list of the contacts on Skype. Find a chat or contact with a photo.
Tap on a contact name to open recent conversations with that contact.
In the "chat" section, find a photo.
This one has a photo of the word "THANKS". This is something done with the writing tool on this application. To learn how to do that search for a tutorial on this website. For this demonstration, it counts as a photo.
To save a photo from a chat conversation, press down on it until it appears full screen.
Then press the three dots in a row, the ellipsis, at the bottom right corner of the screen.
This is the menu icon. The option to "save photo" will pop up from the bottom of the screen.
Press down on "save photo".
At the top the message "saving photo" appears, and right after that "Photo has been saved".
Press the white arrow at the bottom left corner of the screen a couple of times to return to the home screen.
Press down on the Photos tile to open photos.
The photo just saved from Skype will appear under the current date.
