Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to save a document from Microsoft OneDrive to a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
Once the phone is activated, swipe the lock screen up to open the home screen.
On the home screen, find the Microsoft Office tile.
It is orange with a white icon that looks like the side view of a white 3D square. If Microsoft Office has not been pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the Apps menu.
Once it has been located, press on Microsoft Office to enter the application.
Make sure the "places" screen is open.
Swipe across the screen to find it if needed.
Press down on "OneDrive," located near the bottom of the list.
This will open the OneDrive account.
Choose a document from those available on the "documents" screen.
Saving a document to the phone will enable viewing and editing of the document even without an internet connection. If there are no documents available on OneDrive, just follow the video to see what to do in the future.
Swipe up slightly on the screen to reveal a menu at the bottom of the screen.
Press on the ellipsis icon, or three dots in a line, at the bottom right corner of the screen.
This will bring up more options.
The name of the file appears at the top of the screen along with the location.
The current location will likely be OneDrive.
Press down on the text box below "Save to" to bring up a list of options.
The phone may not have a lot of memory, so saving to the SD card may be a viable option.
Choose a location to save to by tapping on it.
Press the "save" button at the bottom of the screen.
Now, the document has been saved directly to the SD card on the phone. The internet will no longer be needed to view or edit the document.
This concludes this tutorial on how to save a document from a Microsoft OneDrive account to a Microsoft Lumia 535.
