Save Battery Life on a HP Netbook
Edited by Thor, Jen M, Eng, Inukshuk
Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how to conserve battery life in an HP 110 or 210 Netbook.
The primary way to conserve power when you are using the Netbook is to reduce the brightness of the screen.
To do this, press F2 and the screen will get dimmer. This will allow you to save a large amount of your battery's power.
Another alternative is to reduce the sound or turn the sound off completely.
If you need sound, inserting headphones will take power away from the netbook speakers, saving more battery life.
The third option, if you are not using internet, is to disable the wireless adapter.
You can do this by pressing F12. When the wireless adapter is disabled the F12 button will have an orange light on it.
These 3 options should help you conserve battery life up to 1-2 hours.
Thank you for watching VisiHow. Goodbye.
