Save As on Mac
Edited by Djinu, Crystal, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to save a document using the save as feature on the Mac. We are going to be using our test document.
There used to be a "Save As" feature that has been replaced by "Duplicate", which we can see by going to the "File" menu.
If we duplicate the item, it will give us an untitled copy.
When we try to close this, we'll have the option of saving this file or deleting the copy.
To actually use the same functionality as the save as function, what we can do is press "File" and hold down the "Option" key.
It will show us the "Save As" option.
If we click on this now we can choose the file location and name, and save this document.
This is how to use the save as function on the Mac.
If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you.
