SanDisk Ultra 64GB all of a sudden not recognized anymore?

The SanDisk Ultra 64GB was working fine for the past months, not much used - mainly to backup data. All of a sudden it was not accessible/readable anymore. Inserted to my Laptop Windows 8.1, it reported an error and requested to fix. I did. I saved all my data and Quick formatted it (exFAT). It still is not recognized by the S5. What would be the reason?

Try reformatting your SD card as a Fat32. If that doesn't allow it to be used, try using a different SD card with your device. For whatever reason, it sounds as though your card might have become incompatible with your S5, and using a different SD card will help you determine whether the issue lies with the card or your phone.

Alternately, you could try backing up your phone, doing a Factory Reset, restoring your data, and then trying the card and seeing if it works.

I cannot get it to format with my Galaxy anymore, worked fine for 5 months... no damage to the phone, never removed the SD card since first installed.

I think it was caused by: The update
