Samsung phones can not find my Switzerland SIM card in Vietnam, are the phones locked?

I try to buy a Samsung j7 in Vietnam and I tried in different shops and all the phones can not find my Switzerland SIM card (Swisscom), are the phones locked? We tried also with a Philippines smartphone and other Samsung phones, no phone found my SIM and I need the SIM card to sign into my bank account. I hope you can help me
