Samsung Galaxy Note2 software crashed. Need to reinstall without any charge?

Dear, my Samsung Galaxy Note2 software has crashed and I am unable to switch it on. Please let me know the way that I can recover my phone software without any charge and turn it on where it can function properly with updated version. I want to plug the wire into the phone through my laptop and then install the software into my Galaxy Note2. I have tried: I have tried nothing yet, but I want the way first then I want to start it. I think it was caused by: It should be the simplest way that any body can install it at home without paying even a single penny!
