Samsung Galaxy Alpha won't wake up from sleep mode?

Galaxy Alpha goes to sleep mode and then won't wake up.

If you can get the phone operational when you answer a call then go into Settings and disable the sleep mode. You could try a hard reset but this only works sometimes and if it is an app that is causing it such as a Battery Saver. Usually, though this is a hardware issue and it has to be repaired. Flashing new OS will not solve it either but at least try a hard reset if you can't turn off the settings for sleep mode during a phone call.

Having problems trying to turn my Samsung Galaxy S5 on?

Remove the battery for a few minutes and then try to put it back in again. It can take up to 24 hours to charge a dead battery sometimes and you may want to connect the phone to the charger with the battery removed for about one hour. Check the battery to make sure that it is not damaged but also see if you can charge it with another cable. Your USB wall charger may be fried and this is why it is not charging properly. Also, the connector at the bottom of the phone for the charging port may be out of alignment. This is an easy fix with a toothpick to adjust back into place.

S5 power button won't work. How do I fix this?

Galaxy S5 power button won't work, so I took out the battery and put it back in but now it won't turn on because the power button doesn't work. How do I fix this

You would have to open the casing of the phone and adjust the button. Use compressed air to blow out any debris when you do this. It is, unfortunately, a common issue with the S3 to S5 in that the button gets loose and then causes issues.

What do I do to turn my Galaxy S5 on again? I dropped it into water?

What do I do to turn my Galaxy S5 on again? I dropped it into water.

Dry out your cell phone if it gets wet is a VisiHow article that shows you how to dry out your phone properly. Do not try to turn it on until you are fully satisfied that it is completely dried out. This may mean that you do not use the phone for several days while drying it out. Your battery may also be damaged so keep that in mind when you attempt to turn the phone on by connecting your charger and then powering up the phone. Your warranty is now probably voided but you might be able to get it repaired cheaply if there is still minimal damage after you dry out the phone.
