Having trouble following the instructions at http://visihow.com/Its_a_att_galaxy_s4,_network_unlocked_for_tmobile,_try_connect_hot_spot_it_says_no_data_or_invalid_sim?

Hi, I have an AT&T Galaxy S4 unlocked and using T-Mobile (actually Metro PCS which was bought by T-Mobile). At this instruction, "Tap the wrench icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.", I don't have a wrench on the top right-hand corner of my screen. I don't know if you mean the wrench should be within the App Quarantine application, but there isn't one there either, just a part of an abacus. Is it because I used Towelroot to root my phone instead of following the instructions at http://visihow.com/Root_Samsung_Galaxy_S4? If so, what should I do? By the way, I also tried Option 2 since I had the above problem with the main instructions and Option 1 didn't do anything. Option 2 didn't work. It seems that hotspot is always disabled a few seconds after I start it up? Not sure exactly what's going on. But in the process of doing Option 2 I of course, uninstalled Tethering Automation and Tethering Provision (after backing up everything). The problem is that the crappy Titanium Backup program fails to restore those two programs no matter what I try. I tried setting the restore mode to "Auto, Indirect" and setting it to "Interactive" and whatever the third setting choice was. So I don't know if missing those two programs will impinge on the effectiveness of Option 1. The instructions didn't work for me because I didn't see a wrench. Perhaps it's because I used Towelroot to root my phone instead of the USB instructions. I have tried: I tried Option 1, Option 2, and the main instructions on the top of the page (though I was only able to get to the second instruction in the list). I think it was caused by: I don't know, perhaps the fact that I used Towelroot instead of the instructions for rooting my phone that were provided on the web page. Other than that, I have no idea. My operating system is relatively up to date, I believe.
