Rotate Photos with the Built in Editor on iPhone 6
Edited by Grimm, Alexander Avdeev
You are watching VisiHow! We are going to show you how to edit and rotate photos with the built-in photo-editing application on the iPhone 6.
Press the home button at the bottom of the phone.
Alternatively, press the lock button on the right side of the phone. Either will activate the lock screen.
Enter the PIN, password, pattern, or simply press the finger on the home button to access the home screen.
Find and tap the Photos icon to open the screen with all of the photo and video folders.
Tap on "All Photos" to open the screen with all of the photos stored on the device.
Tap on the picture that needs to be rotated.
For this example, there is a picture of sideways writing on the ground. To see it the correct way, the picture must be rotated. The pinching method to rotate it does not work not here.
Moving or pinching does not rotate the picture.
Tap the crop icon.
The icon is a rectangle at the bottom of the screen. It is possible to crop the photo by simply dragging and sliding the edges. Cropping is not required to rotate the photo, and the changes that might have been made accidentally with the crop tool must be discarded.
Tap "Discard Changes" to discard all changes and get back to the main photo.
Tap the crop icon.
Do not move the photo around or expand or reduce its size.
Tap the little white box with the arrow at the bottom.
One tap on the icon will rotate the photo counterclockwise at a right angle.
Tap "Done" when the picture is oriented correctly.
In the example, photo editing has been finished and the picture has been rotated just as required so that the writing on the ground goes from left to right.
