Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to rotate the map in the Google Maps application on an HTC One M8.
- 4Find the Maps application. It is located at the top of the screen. The icon looks like a map with a red pin, and underneath, it says the word "Maps". Press down on this icon and it will open up our Google Maps application. In this video, we want to show how to rotate the map. To do that, we will need to use two fingers.
- 7Look at our destination or our current location marked by the big blue dot. There is an arrow on the dot, and that arrow is pointing in the direction that the phone is facing. So right now, the phone is facing the wall, and the arrow indicates which way we are facing on the map. It's very useful if we want to know where we are and need to orientate ourselves. We can rotate the map so that we can find ourselves in the right position in order to help guide us.
