Resize Widgets on Nexus 6P

You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, I'm going to demonstrate how to resize a widget on the home screen.

Steps

  1. 1
    In a previous tutorial, I installed the Weather widget
    .
    This widget came out in default 2X3 grid. To resize this widget, I can press and hold it.

    This is going to give me an option of removing it if I drag it up

    But if I just let go of it on the space where it once was, you'll notice that there are some corners now that I can drag

    I can drag on the bottom circle to expand the length of it

    Or contract the length of it

    I can also do the same thing with the side circle

    If I want to adjust both of the sides, I can drag on the lower right hand corner

    And this will allow me to change both the width and the heights of the box

    You notice that as I'm moving it around, it displaces other icons
    .
    It will move the icons, so that they are out of the way of the widget.
