Reset Google account not remembering password. How to reset the Google account info on the phone?

Hi, I have a new A5 and relied wrongly on the fact that my fingerprint would be sufficient ID. After an update of the Samsung, the system keeps asking me for that password which I no longer have in mind. What are the options to get across that hurdle ?. . I did a hard reset, and I am now at the place where Google is asking for an existing (known to the phone) account with Password. But that is exactly where I do not have the Password. Have not read all articles... guess if there was a standard solution it would state in the first few.
