You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can report an email as spam on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom to bring up the lock screen.
Swipe right to enter the passcode or we can use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.
Find the Gmail icon which is this one here and tap once to open up the application.
As we can see, we have already entered in one of our emails so we are automatically taken to our primary email list.
What we need to do is tap on whichever email we want to mark as spam.
I have sent this email to myself to use as an example.
We can tap this drop down arrow in the top right-hand corner for more settings.
We can tap on "Report Spam" which has an exclamation mark on top of it.
The email has now been marked as spam and has been removed from the inbox.
We can view the spam email by pressing the menu button.
Then scroll down and tap on "Spam" at the very bottom.
We can see that the email we just marked as spam has been added.
Press the menu button and tap "Primary" to return to the primary email list.
This will take us back to where we began.
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can mark an email as spam on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6.
If you have any question or comments, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
