Rename a Fingerprint on the iPad Air 2

You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to rename fingerprints on the iPad Air 2. If you have several fingerprints saved on your iPad Air, you may want to give them different names so that you know which one is which. Steps

  1. 1
    Otherwise, find the "Settings" icon

    When you find it, give a single press. This will open up the settings panel.

    In "Settings" you need to scroll down on the left side of the window to find "Touch ID & Passcode"

    Once you find "Touch ID & Passcode", give a single press on it

    A pop-up window will appear. You will have to enter your passcode.

    Enter in your current passcode

    In my case it is "123123"

    Then, go down to "FINGERPRINTS"

    Here we have "Finger 1" and "Finger 2".

    Let's press "Finger 1"

    A keyboard and a field with the name will pop up.

    Press once on little "x"

    Now, we have our "Finger 1"

    I'm using my right-hand thumb, so I'm just going to use "RT" as a shortcut

    The first fingerprint will be named "RT".

    To rename "Finger 2", tap on it once
