Hello, and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, I will show you have to remove an eBook from your device, on the Amazon Kindle mobile app on the LG L70.
To begin, we will unlock our phone by pressing the Power button.
This button is located on the top, right-hand side of the phone.
We will then press down on the screen and swipe upwards.
This will bring us to the Home screen.
We now need to locate the Kindle icon.
This icon is currently on our Home screen. It will be blue at the bottom, with a black bar at the top. Within the black bar, the word "kindle" will be written in orange. Underneath, this icon will be labeled "Amazon Kindle".
If this icon cannot be found on the Home screen, we can access the application through the Apps menu.
We can see the icon for the Apps menu is a gray box, with a grid of white squares inside of it.
We will now tap on the application icon, this will open the application for us.
We will now tap on the three, white, horizontal lines in the top, left-hand corner of the screen.
This will open up a menu bar for us.
We will now scroll down this menu, in order to find and tap the "On Device" option.
This option is located second, within the "LIBRARY" section.
This will let us view the eBooks that we currently have on our device.
To remove an eBook, we will press and hold and the eBook we have decided to remove.
For our example, we will tap and hold on "My Sergei: A Love Story".
A white bar will now appear at the top of the screen, featuring three icons.
There will be a checkmark, a share icon, and three boxes in a horizontal lines.
We will now tap on the three boxes in a horizontal line, in the top, right-hand corner of the screen.
This will open up a menu for us, with the options to "Add book", "Remove Items", or "View in store".
We will tap on the second option, labeled "Remove Item".
This will open up a confirmation box for us, giving us the options to remove the eBook from "Only this device", or "Cloud and all your devices".
We are going to tap on the circle, to the right of the "Cloud and all your devices" option.
We are selecting this option because we do not need to access this eBook at any other time.
This will place a blue circle inside of the empty circle we just tapped, confirming "Cloud and all your devices" is selected.
We are now going to tap "OK", located in the bottom, right-hand corner of the confirmation box.
The item has now been removed from our device, as well as the Cloud storage.
To close this application, we will press the bottom center button on our phone.
This button is located just below the screen.
This will bring us back to the Home screen.
This concludes our tutorial today, on how to remove an eBook from our device, on the Amazon Kindle application on an LG L70.
