Remove User Accounts in Windows 7

Steps

    Start off by clicking the Start menu in the bottom left corner of the screen

    Click "Control Panel" to open the Control Panel

    Once the Control Panel is open, find the "User Accounts and Family Safety" section, and in that section, click "Add or remove user accounts"
    .
    Once you click it, you will be presented with a new window. In this window, there is a list of all of the user accounts. You can remove or disable all of them, except for the one that you are currently logged into.

    For example, the first user is logged in as an Administrator, so we cannot remove it right now

    We can disable the guest account and delete "VisiHow", the standard user that is not currently logged in.

    To remove the Guest account, click it once, then click "Turn off the guest account"

    It is now turned off.

    To remove the standard user, click it once, then click "Delete this account"

    The system will ask you if you would like to delete all of the files that are associated to the user account

    You can either delete these files or keep them. In this case, I'm going to choose "Delete Files".

    The system will ask you if you are sure that you want to delete the account; click "Delete Account"
