Steps

    Let's go ahead and open File Explorer

    To do this, we double-click "This PC".

    We will have two options: "Frequent folders" and "Recent files".

    To remove the items from "Quick access", we need to right-click the lower-left corner of the screen

    Then, we click "Control Panel"

    When the "Control Panel" window opens, we need to click "Appearance and Personalization"

    We will see that "Quick access" will be changed. In this case, it is not showing us "Recently used files", but "Frequent folders" still remains. If "Frequent folders" were removed, "Quick access" would be empty. If we have anything other than "Frequent folders", the "Frequent folders" section will disappear.
