Remove All Icons from the Desktop in Windows 8

Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to remove all icons from the desktop on Windows 8 computers. As you can see, there are two icons on our desktop. It's the "This PC" icon and the "Recycle Bin" icon. We can remove all icons at once from the desktop.

  1. 1
    Right-click on an empty space on the desktop

    A menu will appear.

    Hover over "View" to get another menu to appear

    This removes the checkmark next to it. All the icons that were previously on the desktop will disappear. Let's make them reappear.
