    Slide across the screen to unlock the phone, and go to Photos.
    The Photos icon looks like a multi-colored flower.

    When you open that, you will see the Camera Roll, where you have all of your photos saved.

    Click on Albums at the top left of the screen to go back to the Albums page.

    When you scroll down from here, you can see the Recently Deleted Photos by clicking on the Recently Deleted folder.
    When you delete your pictures from the Camera Roll, they don't actually get completely deleted. You have one last chance to save them. They go into the Recently Deleted folder. You have 30 days to restore them, but after 30 days the photos will be deleted permanently.

    The number of days the photos have been in your Recently Deleted folder will be shown below each photo.

    You can select multiple photos to recover at one time.
    Click on the pictures you want to recover.

    Next, press Recover at the bottom right corner of your screen.

    Confirm by pressing the appropriate button that comes up, which will say Recover and then the number of photos you chose.
    You can also press the Cancel button to go back.

    After confirming recovery of those photos, click on Albums at the top left to go back to Albums.
    Scroll up and then click on Camera Roll at the top. Here, you will see the photos that you just recovered. The photos take their place in order by date in your Camera Roll. You should be able to find them if you scroll up or down.
