Protect your Acoustic Guitar with a Case

Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng

Hello, welcome to VisiHow. In this series of videos, we are showing you some guitar techniques for the absolute beginner. One thing you want to do if you're traveling with your guitar is have a guitar case. You can have a hard case or a soft case like this. It's better if it's waterproof because that will help to prevent rain damage if you get caught in a thunderstorm.

Steps

  1. 1
It is very important to remember not to scratch the guitar when taking it out of the case
    .
Over a long period of time of taking the guitar out of the case and putting it back in, it can scratch it, that damages the finish and quality. The guitar I have right now is an old battered guitar, it's my travel guitar. At home, I have several very expensive guitars and I like to keep them in good condition. I'm going to show you how to take the guitar out of the bag in a way that will prevent you from scratching it. Open up the zipper.
