You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to demonstrate how to protect images on the Canon 650D or EOS Rebel T4i camera.
Press the right and left buttons to go to the fifth menu from the left.
Choose "Protect images" with up and down arrows and press "SET".
In the "Protect images" menu, we have the following options: "Select images", "All images in folder", "Unprotect all images in folder", "All images on card", or "Unprotect all images on card".
Let's press "SET" on "Select images".
Navigate to "Select images" with the up and down buttons if necessary.
Move to the previous or next photo by pressing left and right arrows.
Press "SET" to protect an image.
Now, tap on "MENU".
You'll go back to the menu.
Move to "Erase images" with the down and up buttons.
From the "Erase images" menu, choose "Select and erase images", "All images in folder", or "All images on card".
Move to "All images on card" with up and down buttons and press "SET".
"Erase all images (except selected images)" will be displayed on the screen.
Press the right arrow to select "OK" and press "SET".
Now, when you check your images, you will only see the ones that you've protected.
