Properly Connect Headphones to HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to connect your HTC One M8 headphones to your new HTC One M8 phone. It could be a used phone too, but either way, you're need to know how to connect the headphones. It is a very simple process.
Locate the headphone jack on the bottom of the phone.
Take the male end of the headphones and push it into the jack.
Hold your finger at the top the headphones while connecting the jack, and give it a slight push.
It will click when connected properly.
There may be a tiny bit of silver showing where the headphones connect to the phone.
It is nothing to worry about.
To take the headphones out, it is the same situation.
Instead of using your index finger at the top, place your pinky finger at the bottom of the phone, and pull. The reason for this is to prevent throwing or dropping the phone.
Never pull the headphones by the cable.
This will damage them and they will stop working. Always hold the little base and pull. It is fairly easy to push them in and out, so it is not a big concern.
If lint or fuzz gets into the headphone jack, the easiest thing to do is blow into the jack.
However, make sure your mouth is dry before doing so. That is a quick way to get lint out. Another way is to use a hair dryer or compressed air.
Press the headphones into the jack, and they're ready to go.
Use the button on the headphones for answering calls and increasing volume.

Otherwise, have a great day and remember that these tips work for all types of headphones, whether they're the $5 or $10-dollar kind or the $150 or $250-dollar kind, like Dr. Dre Beats. Thanks. Have a great day.
