Questions and Answers

I reset my password yesterday. I've had an account with AOL for almost 20 years, continue to have problems with doing a "reset"!

I thought I reset my AOL password yesterday, but have not been "admitted" using the new one. I hope you can help me.

I forgot my password for Android at the time I used a friend's phone number and email and I no longer have access to these?

I no longer have access to the email or phone number, what can I do?

The only thing you can do is a hard reset. You will then have to bypass the Google Verification to set up the phone after the hard reset. There are a number of ways as each manufacturer is bypassed differently. If you can't find your device or manufacturer on YouTube when you search bypass Google FRP then you will have to install new firmware on the device.

My wife's mother died and she wants to read her AOL email?

We have her username but not her password.

If this was her mother, she can probably answer the security question. If not, she could contact AOL but they may not help her since security is essential with email passwords. You could request that you be allowed to send the death certificate for confirmation though and identification or proof that your wife is her closest relative.
