Play Tetris on an Android Phone

Hi you are watching VisiHow and today we are going to show you how to get the Tetris game downloaded and installed on your phone and how to start playing. For those of you unfamiliar with Tetris, it's a very old classic game that was created by a Russian programmer, and then was actually stolen by an American company which later lost the results of a lawsuit, and released the rights back to the guy, who then, licensed it back to them. So to get started, what we need to do is tap on the Google Play store icon.
Alternatively, we can also tap on "apps" and we're going to scroll through until we find the Google Play store.
Tap on that one time, and open up the "quick search".
And we're going to type in Tetris.
We'll have several versions of Tetris, lets tap on the first one that comes up.
There it is.
So in order to start playing Tetris, you're going to tap the green install button.
Mine already says open because I've already installed it to save you the pain of sitting through a download.
So we're going to tap on "open", and that is going to open up our Tetris game.
You may also have an icon on your desktop, in which case it will open the icon on your desktop. Tetris does take a minute to load, but that's OK. Please verify your age to launch the game. You're just going to scroll down through here.
So you can start off with "one-touch", you can have "Galaxy" and "marathon" or "buzz", each of these is a different option.
As you can see at the top I have an advertisement running.
If you are a huge Tetris fan, you are going to have to accept the ads or you are going to have to purchase the game. The game can be purchased by going into the store.
And tap the "no ads" option.
Once you touch the "no ads" button you will no longer be bombarded with ads.
If you've previously purchased and are now re-installing on a new phone, or from a factory restore, you can simply tap "restore previous purchases".
Here we are, let's go ahead and get started on the game.
Also, you have options if you would like to change and modify options.
Music, Your stats, settings.
Lets you chose your guests, languages, and whether or not you want to set settings back to where they are.
Lets go click on the "one touch".
So this is our marathon of "one touch".
Very, very easy game to play. Lets tap it.
Here comes our little Tetris guy, you can move them around, you can just choose how you want the piece to be.
So if I want it to be lengthwise, then I just move it that way.
You move the Tetris piece over to where you want it, and there you go.
Let's put this one here.
And this next one, lets put it here.
The one touch is pretty easy, I think anyway, you just continually touch these little pieces, and let them all fall down, until you get to a point where you've made the correct set of choices in all of your blocks.
And you don't have to play around as much as you otherwise would with some of the more complex settings.
Here's another one, and you can close this little lineup.
Now you can close another line up.
When you continue doing this, you will find that you will get farther and farther along in the game.
Personally, I think this is the easiest way to play Tetris.
At any rate, this is how you play Tetris.
You can see that your next pieces are coming up here.
Here's a timer for your cycle.
It's going to show you how it's going down.
Your goal here is to get to level 9. So there you go, each time you tap a piece down, the timer will reset itself.
There's another block dropped, very simple game.
However, it can be fairly addictive.
So thanks very much for watching VisiHow, have a great day, I'm going to see how high I can get in this game now, instead of doing my job, have a great day!
