You're watching VisiHow. Today we're going to show how you can pin from a location, on the Pinterest application, on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we should unlock the phone by pressing the Lock button on the right or the Home button at the bottom.
Do this before swiping to enter our passcode, or use the fingerprint scanner. It takes us to our Home screen.
First we should find the "Settings" icon which we're certainly familiar with.
It is the gray one with a dark gray circle in the center. Click on our "Settings".
Scroll all the way down until we find our apps which are here, in alphabetical order.
Pinterest is obviously toward the end of the alphabet so it might be toward the bottom.
Again, we can see on the left side as indicated by this "p" in the red circle. Click on Pinterest. In Pinterest, we have settings which we can choose to enable or disable access to certain things for the application.
What we need to do today, is to go to the first option "Location" which is indicated by the blue and white arrow.
Click on the "Never" button on the right side.
We will see the blue check on the top. We need to move it to "While Using The App". It will be saved automatically.
Click our Home button once and go back to our home screen.
Find our Pinterest app which is the white "p" inside the red circle. Tap once to open the app. If we are signed into this, it will take us straight to our dashboard. If you're not signed in, refer to another video where I'll talk you through that.
Go to the bottom right corner where the profile symbol, which is the head and shoulders of a person.
Click on this and it takes us straight to our profile.
Go to the top right-hand corner and click the "+" symbol, which is more central.
This brings up a new window where we can either add a new board, pin from our photos or pin from a location, which is indicated by an upside down teardrop symbol.
Click on "Location".
It searches your current location if it's enabled, or we can search for a location.
For example, let's search London again.
We have London Heathrow Airport. It will let us pin from selected photos within that particular location tag.
Click on one.
It will let us pin from selected photos from within that particular location tag and we can add to boards. It has our information and location at the top.
Or we can click the camera icon and upload our own picture from London Heathrow Airport.
We can take the photo directly, where it accesses our camera if our camera is enabled on the app.
We can also choose from our camera roll, if we have a particular photo that we would like to upload. Then, it will focus on the location as a tag instead.
We can go back twice, and we will be back to our home page again.
We will be able to view where we added from our location, depending on which board we selected.
To create a new "Board", click the "Plus" button.
We've been through creating a new board already, and all of the steps involved. It's the same as if we were going to post from the location as well.
Click away from the current page.
Then, click on the bottom left corner the 'P' to go back to our home page where we began.
Thank you very much for watching.
