Pin from Your Photos on Pinterest with iPhone 6

Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to pin from your photos using the Pinterest application on the iPhone 6.



Steps

    To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen

    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    Find and tap on the settings icon, which is gray with a gray gear inside of it

    Scroll down and find the applications (which are in alphabetical order) and tap on Pinterest which will be towards the bottom

    It is symbolized by the red circle with a white "P".

    Make sure that "Photos" is enabled as indicated with the green highlight beside it
    .
    Tap it to enable. Tap it again to disable it and remove the green highlight. The same applies to the other options that we have and we can select what ones we want the application to have access to.

    Press the home button to go back to the main screen

    Find and tap on the Pinterest application, which has a red and white icon with a white "P" inside of a red circle

    This will take us to our dashboard. We need to be signed in for this, so please refer to the article on how to sign in using Pinterest on the iPhone 6. We are at our dashboard when highlighted by the white "P" in the red circle in the bottom-left corner.

    Look towards the bottom, and tap on the head and shoulders icon on the right side

    This will take us to our profile.

    Tap on the "+" sign in the top-right corner

    As we can see, we have three options to choose from.

    Tap on "Photos"
    .
    This will take us to our camera roll with our most recent photos. We also have the option to create a new board, which we mention in another article.

    Tap on a photo to select it

    Tap on "Pin it" in the top-right corner

    Add a new board by tapping on the icon in the top-right corner
    .
    The board at the top is usually the one we've added to most recently, assuming we're looking for home things it thinks we'll only want to be pinning for home things to be more convenient.

    Tap on Describe your Pin at the top, and enter information about the pin

    In this example, we'll type "Icecream". In the bottom-left there is the character count, we can have 491 words if we like.

    Press "Done" when we're finished, or press the "x"

    There is also a symbol on the left indicating 'location' and it's an upside down teardrop symbol which we've seen elsewhere on our phone as well.

    Tap on the teardrop symbol to search for a place
    .
    In this example, we'll search for London. As we can see it's coming up with things from London, like Trafalgar Square, London Heathrow, etc.

    Select a place and tap on it once

    As we can see, Trafalgar square is now added to our location.

    Choose and tap on a board

    In this example, we'll select "Color". The red bar means it has just been added.

    Find the board we've just chosen and tap on it once
    .
    In this example, it's "Color". As we see now, our pin has been added just like any other pin on Pinterest. We also have our location on it as well, and some information if we've added our details or information sentences, and also which board it's sent to. The related pins in this example are ice cream related because we wrote the word "icecream".

    Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner two times to go back

    Tap on the Pinterest icon in the bottom-left corner to go back to the dashboard where we can see our new pin has been added, and we're back where we began
